First had Mr Malik dealing with my hip problem(s) 2 months ago. Right Hip has now been replaced for nearly two weeks now. The treatment and consideration he has shown to me before during and after my hip replacement has been excellent and 5 star throughout. I am not sure that I would want to be treated by anyone else after this! Already he has been looking at my other hip for replacement in the near future once I have recovered fully from this right hip replacement. In fact him and the whole team at Wrexham have given me the 5 star treatment from start to finish. This is my first ever experience of this sort of treatment at hospital and I am 67 years old. the only thing that I will say to any government is give the NHS the money now and stop wasting time AND money on this Brexit rubbish.

Mr Malek, a brilliant surgeon and gentleman. From the first appointment through to his visit after the procedure, Mr Malek is without doubt a surgeon who cares for his patients. Very much patient centred approach, made to feel relaxed and you know you are in safe hands with Mr Malek as your surgeon. My surgery was arthroscopy for medial meniscus tear. Should I require surgery in the future I will be asking to be put on the list for Mr Malek. I would also like to add that the team, from initial consultation, pre op, theatre staff to the ward and physio staff behind Mr Malek were brilliant at the Maelor.

Mr. Malek and the team at Spire are fantastic on the 20th June. Mr. Malek is a consummate professional at the top of his game, caring, supportive and a great listener. Apart from being a great surgeon, his ability to explain the technicalities of the issues and processes involved were exceptional. These are rare qualities and can only be commended. His focus on client relationship and clear communication of the outcomes were very reassuring, leaving me in no doubt of success. My knee is very grateful! Thank you Mr.Malek. I had a hip replacement done by Mr I.B Malek June 18th, what a brilliant job he has done for me, His whole team were nothing less than professional, I am now in no pain and the scar is minimal. I first met me malek, in March 2018, Mr Malek made me feel at ease straight away . He explained my options in great detail. I decided that a full knee replacement was the best option for me. I had my operation on the 30th of april ( this was seven years after the diagnosis of severe arthritis). On the day of operation Mr Malek came to see me and again explained what he was going to do, i felt completely confident that the operation would go ok. Mr Malek came in the ward everyday while I was in hospital to check all was well. He also phoned me four weeks after the operation to inquire as to how I was recovering and how physio was going. My appointment for my follow up appointment was sent to my home before I left hospital. I would also like to say that while I was in hospital the nurses were very caring and nothing was to much trouble . Mr Malek is very professional charming and has a lovely bedside manner.
